Day 1 — Chengdu • Jiuzhaigou County • Golden Monkey Park

Depart Chengdu and travel north into the mountains of Sichuan. Enjoy the changing scenery from the Chengdu Plain to the valleys and forests of northern Sichuan.

Arrive in Jiuzhaigou County and visit Golden Monkey Park, where you can observe the rare Sichuan golden snub-nosed monkeys in their natural mountain environment before settling into your hotel.

Day 2 — Panda Volunteer Experience • Baima Tibetan Village

Continue to Baima Tibetan Village and enter the world of one of China’s smallest Tibetan communities. Experience traditional dances, mask-making, local crafts, and a welcoming village meal while learning about their unique culture and traditions.

Day 3 — Jiuzhaigou National Park Exploration

Spend a full day exploring Jiuzhaigou National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its crystal-clear lakes, colorful forests, waterfalls, and dramatic mountain scenery.

Follow the park’s scenic routes and discover landscapes that change with every season, from turquoise waters in summer to golden forests in autumn.

Day 4 — Zhongcha Tibetan Village • Horse Riding • Songpan Ancient Town

Visit Zhongcha Tibetan Village and experience authentic Tibetan family life. Meet local residents, explore traditional homes, and learn about their customs, architecture, and mountain lifestyle.

Enjoy an optional horse riding experience along ancient tea-horse routes through forests and grasslands before continuing to Songpan Ancient Town, a historic gateway between Sichuan and the Tibetan Plateau.

Day 5 — Huanglong National Park • Maoxian County

Distance / Time: Approx. 180 km / 4 hrs driving

Visit Huanglong National Park, famous for its colorful travertine pools, snow mountains, forests, and unique high-altitude landscapes. Explore the natural terraces created over thousands of years.

Continue toward Maoxian County, located in the heart of Qiang ethnic culture, enjoying the changing scenery of western Sichuan along the way.

Day 6 — Dujiangyan Irrigation System • Chengdu Departure

Visit Dujiangyan Irrigation System, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of China’s greatest ancient engineering achievements. Learn how this 2,000-year-old water management system transformed the Chengdu Plain.

Return to Chengdu in the afternoon and conclude your family adventure through pandas, Tibetan culture, and Sichuan’s most spectacular natural landscapes.
