More than a cycling holiday, this is an immersive expedition through one of Asia’s most remote cultural landscapes. Designed for experienced riders seeking authentic adventure, it combines endurance, discovery, and extraordinary scenery into one unforgettable journey.

Day 1 — Arrival in Chengdu

Arrive in Chengdu for bike assembly, equipment checks, expedition briefing, and preparation before entering the Kham Tibetan Plateau.

Day 2 — Chengdu to Kangding

Travel west into the mountains, gradually gaining altitude as you enter the gateway to the Kham Tibetan region.

Day 3 — Kangding to Xinduqiao

Begin cycling across the plateau toward Xinduqiao, passing Tibetan villages, rivers, and the region’s famous golden landscapes.

Day 4–7 — Xinduqiao to Ganzi

Ride through Tagong, Bamei, Daofu, and Luhuo before reaching Ganzi, experiencing vast grasslands, Tibetan monasteries, local villages, and quiet plateau roads.

Day 8 — Rest Day in Ganzi

A planned acclimatization and recovery day with time to explore local monasteries, markets, and everyday Tibetan life in Ganzi County.

Day 9–11 — Ganzi to Dege

Cycle through some of the most remote sections of the Kham Plateau, passing Manigango and dramatic mountain landscapes before reaching historic Dege.

Explore one of the most important cultural centers of Kham Tibetan heritage, known for Buddhist traditions, ancient printing culture, and remote plateau communities.

Day 12–13 — Baiyu & Kham Buddhist Heritage

Continue into the Baiyu region, one of the most remote areas of Kham, surrounded by high mountains, rivers, and traditional Tibetan communities.

Visit local monasteries and experience the spiritual atmosphere of Tibetan Buddhist culture while discovering the daily life and traditions preserved in this remote plateau region.

Day 14–16 — Xinlong & Litang

Continue across high-altitude grasslands and mountain passes toward Litang, one of the highest towns in the world, with planned recovery time for acclimatization.

Day 17–18 — Return via Tagong

Complete the expedition by cycling through Tagong and the western Sichuan highlands before returning toward Chengdu with support logistics.

Day 19 — Departure

Transfer to Chengdu Airport and conclude your Kham Tibetan cycling expedition.

  • The remaining balance is payable upon arrival before the tour starts.

  • 15–29 days before departure: 70% refund
  • 7–14 days before departure: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before departure: No refund
